Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account and stored data on the Arsenal fan site coyg.io (the Android app has the same name). You can request deletion using the steps below even if you’ve already uninstalled the app.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself (immediate)

1. Log in with your Google account in the app or on coyg.io.
2. Go to My account.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom and confirm once more.

It’s deleted as soon as you confirm. This can’t be undone.

Option 2 — Request by email (if you’ve already uninstalled the app)

From the Google account you signed up with, email contact@coyg.io with the words “Delete account”.

We’ll check that the sending address matches the account before deleting it, and may reply if we need to confirm anything. It can take up to 30 days, but it’s usually done within a few days.

Delete some data but keep your account

Saved line-ups can be deleted one at a time. In the Line-up Maker, go to My line-ups and tap delete on the line-up you want to remove. Your account stays as it is.

You can change your nickname and club on My account at any time. If there’s anything else you’d like deleted, email the address in Option 2 and tell us what.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following is erased immediately and completely. We keep no separate copies.

• Your Google account identifier and email address
• Your nickname and main club
• Saved line-ups (including public ones)
• Your posts and comments
• Player ratings and rating comments
• Reports you’ve submitted

What stays

• Messages on the feedback board — this board can be used without logging in, so it isn’t linked to accounts. We can’t tell who wrote what, so deleting your account can’t remove them. If there’s a message you want deleted, email us as in Option 2 with the text of the message and we’ll find and delete it.
• Server access logs — technical logs recorded automatically by the companies that run the site (Vercel, Supabase). They aren’t account information, and they disappear automatically after up to 30 days under those companies’ policies.
